Custom Food Packaging
Prepare your packaging brief: product format, artwork, quantities, packing and delivery requirements.
Last updated: 2026-09-14
Start with the food you serve and the product you need. Send your branding, size and packing requirements together so the selected product can be reviewed as a complete order.
Choose a product and describe the changes
- Print and appearance: share a logo or artwork reference, colors, print position and any wrapper requirements. Printing options need to be confirmed for the selected material and product format.
- Size and fit: specify dimensions or capacity, food type and matching lids or accessories. Ask whether an existing format meets the brief before requesting a new size.
- Packing: state pieces per inner pack, pieces per carton and any label or carton-mark requirements. Separate product printing from outer-carton labeling.
Browse products to choose a starting item, or explore applications to compare packaging for your serving situation. Include the product link in your inquiry. A product listing does not by itself confirm every requested customization.
Send a brief that can be reviewed
- Product name or link, dimensions or capacity, and any matching lid.
- Food or drink type, serving temperature and intended use, such as takeaway or delivery.
- Quantity per size and design, plus the expected reorder quantity if known.
- Artwork or a reference image, print colors and placement. If artwork is unfinished, describe the intended design.
- Inner-pack and carton quantities, labels and shipping marks.
- Destination country, delivery location and required arrival date. List any buyer-required documents separately.
Enter these details in the inquiry form's requirements field. If artwork is not ready, submit the product and quantity first and describe what still needs to be decided.
After submitting your inquiry, send artwork to sales@ecoservepack.com. Use the same contact email and include the product link and inquiry reference, if available, so the files can be matched to your request.
Arrange samples and approve the order
1. Agree on the sample you need
Specify whether you want to check the product's size and fit, review the printed design, or evaluate a sample made to the proposed order specification. Ask which sample options are available for the selected product and what each option can demonstrate.
Before arranging a sample, confirm the sample quantity, sample and tooling charges if applicable, shipping cost and payer, delivery address, preparation time and estimated transit time. Ask whether any sample charge can be credited against an order; do not assume it is included in the product price.
2. Confirm dimensions and artwork
Match the product dimensions and lid or accessory references to the quotation. Before preparing print files, request the applicable file requirements, print area and layout template, if available. Agree on who checks the artwork, the version to review, and whether approval requires a digital proof, a physical sample or both. A screen preview cannot confirm physical fit or the final printed color.
3. Record your sample checks
Check the sample with the food or drink, serving temperature and handling conditions described in your brief. Record dimensions, lid fit, appearance and any leakage or deformation observed. Include photos and the sample or artwork version when reporting changes. Agree on which points need a revised sample and fresh approval before proceeding.
4. Confirm the order in writing
Confirm the final product specification, artwork version, quantity per size and design, matching parts, packing and carton details, required documents, price basis and payment terms. Record the agreed sample approval and any remaining differences. Confirm production timing and its starting conditions separately from shipping time and the required arrival date.
Minimum order quantities, tooling, sample availability, charges and timing require confirmation for the specific product and order.
Common questions
Can I request a small trial quantity?
Include your trial quantity and expected follow-up order. Ask for the applicable minimum quantity for each size and design, and whether an existing unprinted format is an option.
Can I use one lid across several containers?
List each container and the intended lid. Ask for confirmation of the exact pairing and test the assembled sample for your food and handling conditions; matching nominal dimensions alone are not enough.
Do I need finished artwork to inquire?
No finished artwork is needed to describe a brief. Share the intended design and quantity, then confirm the file requirements and approval steps for the chosen product before print production.
